When we do things that cause harm to our environment, we very often hear the words ‘Mother Earth’. Mother Earth is often seen as a peaceful and silent figure who is sad and upset with our actions. But, this quote makes me think of the Earth as a living being who is crying for all of the suffering we cause to her.
